How did it all start?

The journey

On February 12, 2010, I took my daughter to a basketball game at her school. I sat in the middle of the crowd during the game and suddenly I heard a voice speaking to me, Lucy. I looked around thinking someone was nearby talking to me, but no one was speaking. The next thing I felt tears streaming from my eyes and my heart began to race. I went and sat in my car. I heard the voice of the Lord again and I saw a vision of a heart; one heart was whole and healthy, while the other two hearts looked and attached to the healthy one. I hurriedly opened my Bible and it landed on Isaiah 61. After reading, tears continued to flow from my eyes. I got out of my car and immediately someone asked me if I was okay! I replied yes, but my body was trembling. I then called the late Apostle Billy Hines and explained the vision I had drawn on paper. I went to see him, and he confirmed that the Lord was calling me to the Broken Heart Ministry and prayed for me. So, after that, I began fasting and praying.

As time went on, I experienced numerous visions in the ministry that was established on May 12, 2010. I heard a woman gathering and saw a vision of a boat with 12 people aboard, myself included. I drew the picture and the Holy Spirit ministered to me. The Holy Spirit revealed the time will come when you leave this boat and run. The ministry held its first conference, where 120 women attended. From then on, the mission expanded and people started visiting my beauty shop, sharing their stories of brokenness without me even asking. The Holy Spirit guided me to pray for them and provide help. People began to approach me because they were truly broken and didn’t know how to forgive and repent. The Holy Spirit led me to minister and encourage them to forgive, resulting in tears flowing from their eyes—The Broken Heart Ministry ministers to people in the US and worldwide

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
