Our History

How it all began — a story of faith, calling, and purpose.

How Did It All Start?

The ministry began on February 12, 2010, when our founder experienced a profound spiritual calling. During a basketball game, she heard a voice and received a vision of hearts — a divine message that would change the course of her life and the lives of thousands of others.

Led by that vision, she opened her Bible to Isaiah 61 — a passage about healing the brokenhearted and proclaiming freedom to those in bondage. After prayerful counsel with Apostle Billy Hines, she stepped out in faith and officially established the Broken Heart Ministry on May 12, 2010.

The Journey

The ministry held its first conference with 120 women. Through prayer and spiritual guidance, the ministry rapidly grew as people sought help with forgiveness, repentance, and emotional healing. The Holy Spirit guided the founder to provide prayer and support to those experiencing brokenness in every form.

Over the years, what began as a small local gathering transformed into an international movement — touching lives across continents with the healing power of the Gospel. Today, IBHHR Ministries continues to expand its reach, driven by the same founding call: to heal broken hearts and restore lives.

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free." — Isaiah 61:1
